ZEN-Core editing section

Editing of ZEN-Core tones structured in 6 subsections where you can modify all the synthesis parameters and those relating to the 93 effects provided by the standard. Below is a list of the main features.

- Vector and resizable graphic interface.

- Communication speed between synth and computer capable of real-time listening of changes without any additional latency. The division of the summary parameters allows the editing of the most important parameters in a single screen.

- Real time graphic display of the envelopes (Filter, AMP and Pitch) and the keyboard and velocity range sections

- Copy and paste of partials via clipboard.

- Use of Macro controls to speed up editing by controlling the same parameter of any combination of the 4 partials in parallel.

- Editing of "hidden" ZEN-Core synthesis parameters not directly accessible in the synths: VCF Gain Correction, Partial LFO Phase Lock, Pitch Down Depth, Pitch Drift, Pitch Drift Cycle Number - Condition e VA Init Phase

- 4-track step sequencer. Using a Template it is possible to obtain 4-voice melodic and rhythmic sequences with a single Zen-Core tone, synchronized with the scene BPM. To do this, up to 8 STEP-LFOs (2 for each partial) and 128 steps in total are used simultaneously, all organized in a graphic interface designed to facilitate programming.

- 24 ZEN-Core presets, divided into:
   INI: simple sounds to use as a template for editing.
   PR1: some of the most significant sounds from the optional library that can be purchased separately
   PR2: ZEN-Core tones of rhythmic and melodic sequences (8 STEP LFO and related template)

- Complete editing of the 93 effects of ZEN-Core standard and 25 presets for the most used effects

- - import of ZEN-Core tones and conversion of sounds generated with Model Expansions (JUNO-106 -JX-8P -JUPITER-8 -SH-101 - Juno-60 - JUNO-X engine - JUPITER-X/XM engine)

ZEN-Core Librarian Section

Management of 16384 ZEN-Core tones, all resident in memory, via a database structured in 8 libraries (Lib1-Lib2,..Lib8) each composed of 2048 tones. Each of the 8 libraries is divided into 16 banks (A-B-C….P) of 128 tones each.

The dialogue between Librarian and Synth is in real time and it is possible to transfer each tone to the synth in a fraction of a second thanks to the speed of synth - computer communication and the ability of the software to quickly manage MIDI SysEx messages.

Possible operations:

- Load and Save to file the various data structures: entire database (16384 Tones), single library (2048 tones), single bank (128 Tones) and single tone.

- Save in the library of the tones transferred from the synth and possibly modified with the editor.

- Insert e Delete tones

- Moving the individual banks (128 Tones) using a “Bank Clipboard”

- Copy and paste functionality of tone groups, from/to the library, using a clipboard of variable size (1-48 Tones).

Scene Editor Section

Within this section the main parameters of the scene (performance in AX-Edge) can be edited with a graphic interface (Volume, Pan, sound selection, synthesis parameter offset, keyboard range and speed..) along with all the parameters relating to the scene effects (Reverb, Chorus, Delay,..).

Sezione editing ZEN-Core

Editing dei toni ZEN-Core strutturato in 6 sottosezioni dove modificare tutti i parametri di sintesi e quelli relativi ai 93 effetti previsti dallo standard. Segue una lista delle principali caratteristiche.

- Interfaccia grafica vettoriale e ridimensionabile.

- Velocità di comunicazione tra synth e computer in grado di garantire l’ascolto in real time delle modifiche senza alcuna latenza aggiuntiva. La suddivisione dei parametri di sintesi permette l’editing dei parametri più importanti in un'unica schermata.

- Visualizzazione grafica in real time degli inviluppi (Filter, AMP e Pitch) e delle sezioni keyboard e velocity range

- Copia e incolla di parziali tramite clipboard.

- Utilizzo di controlli Macro per velocizzare l’editing comandando in parallelo lo stesso parametro di una qualsiasi combinazione dei 4 parziali.

- Editing dei parametri di sintesi ZEN-Core "nascosti" non direttamente accessibili nei synth: VCF Gain Correction, Partial LFO Phase Lock, Pitch Down Depth, Pitch Drift, Pitch Drift Cycle Number - Condition e VA Init Phase

- Step sequencer a 4 tracce. Con un template inedito è possibile ottenere con un singolo tono Zen-Core sequenze melodiche e ritmiche a 4 voci, sincronizzate con il BPM di scena. Per farlo si utilizzano simultaneamente fino ad 8 STEP-LFO (2 per parziale) e 128 step complessivi, il tutto organizzato in una interfaccia grafica pensata per agevolarene la programmazione.

- 24 presets ZEN-Core, suddivisi in:
   INI: suoni semplici da utilizzare come template per l’editing.
   PR1: alcuni dei suoni più significativi della libreria opzionale acquistabile separatamente
   PR2: toni ZEN-Core di sequenze ritmiche e melodiche (8 STEP LFO e relativo template)

- Editing completo dei 93 effetti dallo standard ZEN-Core e 25 presets per gli effetti più utilizzati

- Import di toni ZEN-Core e conversione di suoni generati con i Model Expansions (JUNO-106 -JX-8P -JUPITER-8 -SH-101 - Juno-60 - JUNO-X engine - JUPITER-X/XM engine)

Sezione Librarian ZEN-Core

Gestione di 16384 toni ZEN-Core, tutti residenti in memoria, tramite un database strutturato in 8 librerie (Lib1-Lib2,..Lib8) ciascuna composta da 2048 toni. Ognuna delle 8 librerie è suddivisa in 16 banchi (A-B-C….P) di 128 toni ciascuno.

Il dialogo tra Librarian e Synth è in real time ed è possibile trasferire ciascun tono sul synth in una frazione di secondo grazie alla velocità di comunicazione synth - computer e alla capacità del software nel gestire velocemente i messaggi MIDI SysEx.

Operazioni possibili:

- Load e Save su file delle varie strutture di dati: intero database (16384 Toni), singola libreria (2048 toni), singolo banco (128 Toni) e singolo tono.

- Memorizzazione nella libreria dei toni trasferiti dal synth ed eventualmente modificati con l'editor.

- Insert e Delete di toni

- Spostamento dei singoli banchi (128 Toni) tramite una “Bank Clipboard”

- Funzionalità di copia e incolla di gruppi di toni, da/verso la libreria, mediante una clipboard di dimensione variabile (1-48 Toni).

Sezione Editor delle Scene

All’interno di tale sezione si effettua l’editing tramite interfaccia grafica dei principali parametri delle scene (Volume, Pan, selezione dei suoni, offset dei parametri di sintesi, range di tastiera e velocità..) e di tutti i parametri relativi agli effetti di scena (Riverbero, Chorus, Delay,..).
